Are you based in Redbridge, Newham, or Waltham Forest?
Do you speak Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali or other community languages?
We need warm, friendly people like you to support others in our neighbourhoods.
Volunteer roles include:
- Helping people fill out forms
- Interpreting and supporting in different languages
- Walking, chatting, and offering emotional support
- Peer support around grief, trauma, and mental health
- Getting people involved in games, activities, and exercise
- Sharing culture, art, music, food, and local history
- Story writing, podcasting, radio, and creative media
- Food preparation, food banks, and community meals
- Admin, accounts, and behind-the-scenes support

No experience needed – just kindness, commitment, and care.
