Commercial Finance Business Partner

Biscuit International are the leading private label and bread substitute manufacturer in Europe, with a rich heritage of over 400 years of expertise in delivering excellent taste at great value. We operate in over 40 markets with operations in 33 factories across Europe employing over 5000 people.
We are the No.1 UK producer of own label of gluten-free biscuits & cookies producing over 5,000 tonnes per annum of biscuits.
As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and Commercial Director, supporting the entire commercial team. Your responsibilities will include preparing and controlling standard costings, creating clear costing models, and developing a uniform reporting process for internal and external analysis. You will also analyse customer and product margin performance, monitor commodity prices, and develop commercial KPIs with detailed variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Finance team in the preparation and control of standard costings.
- Create clear costing models and a uniform reporting process.
- Review and analyse customer and product margin performance.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and support sales campaigns.
- Understand, monitor, and evaluate commodity prices and drivers of fluctuation.
- Lead the development and analysis of commercial KPIs with variance analysis and recommendations.
- Produce standard product cost for new developments/projects.
- Provide detailed breakdowns of internal and external costs for price negotiations.
- Play a key role in month-end processes, producing detailed variance analysis and investigations.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by analysing historical data, market trends, and operational/commercial drivers.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and validate assumptions for accurate financial projections.
Skills & Experience Required:

Qualifications:
- Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
- Ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
