Job Overview:
We are looking for a competent and reliable CNC Machinist (Setter/Operator) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating and setting CNC milling or turning machines with Fanuc controls. Aerospace experience and knowledge of 5-axis machining would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC Mills or Lathes using Fanuc control systems
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Ensure components are manufactured to the required standards and tolerances
- Conduct in-process checks and basic inspection of components
- Identify and resolve minor issues with machine operation
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (either Milling or Turning)
- Confident working with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings
- Good understanding of machining processes and materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Desirable Experience:
- Background in the aerospace or precision engineering sectors
- 5-axis machining experience
- Basic programming or editing skills on Fanuc machines
