We are looking for an enthusiastic ambitious doctor hoping to gain experience in General and Urology surgery before competing to enter core surgical training. This post is suitable for a doctor at the start of their career and will enable the candidate to develop their knowledge and skills in General & Urology surgery in order to strengthen their chance of entering a training post.

The candidate will be allocated a clinical supervisor and will be expected to be actively involved in quality improvement, audit and teaching. They will be supported in taking study leave to attend surgical conferences and encouraged to present projects.

The candidate will be required to participate in annual appraisal, but also review with their clinical supervisor at regular intervals to ensure they are progressing with their professional
development
