Client Relations Executive involves developing long-term relationships to maximise sales opportunities, and the Client Relations Executive is employed by Citiguard Security (UK) Ltd, to seek and to build a strong base of clients or customers.
The Client Relations Executive, also known as customer success management, is focused on building relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are met, they are satisfied with the services and/or products provided by Citiguard and any challenges are overcome. As well as maintaining relationships with existing clients and working within the boundaries of what is already offered by Citiguard Security Ltd, as a Client Relations Executive you will play a vital role and be involved in identifying new sales opportunities and developing the sales proposition for all services and products. This involves researching, monitoring and analysing industry trends. In order to serve the specific and often bespoke needs of a client, and/or those products and services being offered, Citiguard might conflate the roles of Client Relations Executive/customer success manager and account executive.
So, it's important to look closely at the job description to know exactly what will be expected of you. However, where the positions are separated out, the difference is subtle but important, and aspects of this new role must be considered to be a work in progress as it is developed and adapted with the continued growth strategy of the business. Whilst as an account executive you will focus on many of the specific goals of Citiguard throughout the communications with clients, the targets of the Client Relations Executive are more closely aligned to those of the client. This might involve, for instance, pursuing a high ROI (return on investment) for the client. Immediate goals and priorities, therefore, will be different, but the aims of Citiguard (e.g., in terms of revenue) will naturally still be kept in-mind and pursued.
