Position Overview
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children, creating a safe and stimulating environment where they can learn, play, and grow. This role involves supervising children of different ages, promoting their wellbeing, and encouraging development through fun, structured activities.
The position runs Monday to Friday, 3:15 – 5:30pm, at a school near Stalbridge.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and interact with a small group of children in a secure, nurturing after-school setting.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring toys and equipment are well cared for.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience working with children in childcare, nursery, or similar settings.
- Background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Leadership or management experience is a plus, but not essential.

Pay: £24.00 per hour
