About this role:
To provide a robust and diligent security operation for Crystal Palace Football Club across its’ various sites on weekdays, events/functions, and some of the matchdays; To create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well protected.
Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring all CCTV equipment, radios and ancillary equipment to provide pro-active and reactive monitoring of CCTV cameras to assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour, fire and any other alerts.
- To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an effective and efficient manner. To ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, current legislation (GDPR) and current code of practice.
- Maintain a close liaison with the Head of Security and Security supervisors.
- To record all events and actions in a clear and accurate format through the use of the current software-based solution used by the CCTV control room.
- Monitor, operate and communicate using all forms of equipment
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager.
- Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven interpersonal and communicating skills
- SIA and CCTV licence
- Previous experience of using CCTV equipment and using radio communications
- Willing to work unsociable hours as a majority of the 12 hour shifts will be overnight
- Flexible and able to work a varied schedule when necessary
