Casual Food & Beverage Assistants
Zero hour contract
£12.60 per hour
Location: Edwardian Tea Rooms, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery / other BMT sites subject to business needs
We are currently looking to grow our pool of casual Food & Beverage Assistants to support the team as and when required. Ideally you will be hard working, enthusiastic & sales orientated as well as having a flexible approach.
You will be part of the team working across Birmingham Museums Trust unique food and beverage outlets; including the Signal Box Cafe and Edwardian Tea Room, however you may be required to work at other BMT sites from time to time as the business requires. You will be preparing and serving food and drink, always delivering excellent customer service. You'll be proactively upselling and ensuring that visitors have a great experience of dining with us. A trip to the cafe is an important part of the visitor experience at any museum, so you will play a critical role in the customer journey!
Most of the shifts you may be asked to cover will be during our normal opening times (ie: 10am - 5pm daily, including weekends). By applying for these roles you are confirming that you are available to work various shifts as and when required during these times.

Interviews will be taking place late August / early September with a panel including Noor Miah (Food & Beverage Manager). In advance of the interview, you will receive a copy of the interview questions to prepare, and you will have an opportunity to express any reasonable adjustments you might need.
