Overview

Care Team Leader who will play a pivotal role, in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. This position involves Leading and supervising a dedicated team of care staff, developing and implementing individual care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.
- Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Facilitate effective communication between residents, families, and the care team.
- Coach, train, and performance manage new staff members, promoting best practices in senior care.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care and team performance.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the overall well-being of residents within the care home.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a care home or similar environment.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation.
- A compassionate approach to senior care with a commitment to improving residents' quality of life. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our service while ensuring that our residents receive the best possible support in their daily lives.
Qualification
NVQ Level 3 or above
*Enhanced DBS compulsory, however DBS could be applied for on company's account
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £15.27 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38.75 per week
