About the Role
Are you a commercially minded professional with a passion for hospitality, leisure, and customer service excellence? Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a dynamic Caravan Site Supervisor to lead the operational and commercial development of the award-winning Waleswood Caravan & Camping Park, located in the scenic Rother Valley Country Park.
This is a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership with strategic commercial growth. You’ll be at the forefront of enhancing guest experiences, driving income generation, and ensuring the continued success of a 5 Pennant Gold AA-accredited site.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in leisure, hospitality, or tourism facility management.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of developing and managing retail or catering outlets.
- Excellent leadership and team supervision skills.
- Experience in customer-focused environments, including cash handling and financial reporting.
- Ability to analyse performance data and contribute to strategic planning.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across internal teams and external partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Level 5 or 6 qualification (e.g., Deplomas of HE and FE, degrees and HNDs) or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene and Personal Licence Holder qualifications (or willingness to achieve).
- First Aid at Work qualification (or willingness to achieve).
- Basic DBS check required.
- Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends and holidays.
- A valid driving licence and ability to travel across the borough.
