Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Caravan Sales Person to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about caravans, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the caravan purchasing process, from initial inquiry to handover, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and preferences to recommend the most suitable caravan options.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our range of Davan caravans, including features, specifications, and benefits. Be able to articulate this knowledge clearly and confidently to customers.
- Sales Process Management: Guide customers through the entire sales process, including product demonstrations, price negotiation, and finance options.
- Show Representation: Represent Davan Caravans at external shows and events, showcasing our products and generating leads.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and assistance after the sale.
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance objectives.
- Maintain Showroom and Forecourt Standards: Ensure the showroom and caravan displays are clean, organized, and well-presented.
- Administration: Complete all necessary sales paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product developments to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a sales role, preferably within the caravan or automotive industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong product knowledge of caravans and related accessories.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work weekends and attend external shows and events.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using CRM systems.
- Knowledge of finance options and financing processes is desirable.
