We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cafe Team Members to join our vibrant team in our Cheetham Hill Road Manchester Road branch . As a key part of our café, you will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring that our food and beverage offerings are prepared to the highest standards. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for culinary excellence. Days will also include most weekends and extra hours are available
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
- Prepare food and beverages according to established recipes and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, cooking, and plating dishes as needed.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the café.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or café environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in food preparation.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
