We're Hiring: Broker – Marine, Energy & Technical Lines
We are seeking a talented and motivated Reinsurance Broker to join our expanding Marine, Energy & Technical Lines Team. The ideal candidate will have experience of the insurance and reinsurance space, preferably with Specialties knowledge.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals eager to grow within the reinsurance industry. We will count on you to:
Assist in the preparation of placement slips, cover notes, and contractual documentation.
Assist with reviews of client renewal information.
Initiate the contract drafting process, updates, and production of final contract documentation.
Develop and enhance client and market presentations.
Contribute actively to a high-performing team environment.
Regularly update management on issues, progress, and key developments.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and reinsurance companies to facilitate efficient communication of client demands and requests.
Adhere to Guy Carpenter and Marsh McLennan’s world-class protocols and standards.
What you need to have:
Experience of working in reinsurance with knowledge of treaties.
End-to-end account handling expertise.
Exemplary analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Strong initiative and a proactive approach to driving projects to successful completion.
Willingness to engage with international clients and markets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Pursuing a CII qualification would be advantageous.
