Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Boxing Coach to lead and deliver our children's boxing sessions. As a key member of the Warrior Quest team, you'll inspire young participants to reach their potential, teaching them the fundamentals of boxing while fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging boxing sessions tailored to the skill levels of children.
- Teach fundamental boxing techniques, ensuring participants build confidence and skill in a safe manner.
- Create a fun, energetic, and inclusive atmosphere that motivates children to stay active and engaged.
- Monitor and assess progress, offering feedback to both participants and their parents/guardians.
- Ensure safety measures are upheld and equipment is maintained during each session.
- Act as a role model, instilling values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship in participants.
- Collaborate with the Zm-FITNESSFOCUSED team to promote and grow the Warrior Quest programme.
Qualifications
- Experience in boxing, either as a coach or practitioner (preferably with children).
- Knowledge of fitness, conditioning, and techniques relevant to boxing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children.
- A valid coaching certification is preferred (but not required).
- Current first aid certification is desirable.
- Must undergo a background check to work with children.
