Job Title: Bookkeeper (Cashflow & Accounts Audit)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to take ownership of our day-to-day financial tracking. The ideal candidate will be confident with figures, experienced in handling invoices and payments, and capable of preparing accurate cashflow forecasts. You’ll play a key role in monitoring the business’s financial health and providing regular updates to the Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track invoices, payments, and expenses to ensure accurate records.
- Monitor money in vs. money out and prepare weekly cashflow forecasts.
- Conduct routine audits of accounts to identify discrepancies or irregularities.
- Present findings clearly and confidently to Directors during weekly meetings.
- Assist in improving financial processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, finance, or a related role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in preparing and presenting financial information.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel (or similar tools).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
