About Qima Cafe:

At Qima Cafe, we craft experiences that connect people, places, and passions through every cup we serve. Born in London, we’ve grown into a thriving community of coffee lovers, with our newest location adding a dash of energy to Covent Garden’s vibrant streets.

We’re part of the Qima Coffee family, a brand fueled by sustainability, innovation, and a deep love for the craft. From the sun-drenched hills of Colombia to the lush landscapes of Ecuador and the ancient terraces of Yemen, our farms are the heartbeat of our mission. Every bean we source tells a story of fairness, transparency, and the farmers who pour their dedication into every harvest.

Step into our cafes and you’ll find more than a coffee, you’ll discover vibrant hubs where creativity blooms, friendships spark, and every drink is a masterpiece. Whether it’s a meticulously brewed pour-over, a silky-smooth flat white, or a seasonal creation that surprises the senses, we infuse passion into every step.

Role Overview:

As a Barista at Qima Cafe, you will be the heart of our café operation, crafting beautiful coffee beverages while providing exceptional service to our customers. Your role will include brewing high-quality espresso drinks, managing the flow of orders, keeping the café clean and organized, and working closely with a team that shares your commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee Preparation: Prepare a range of specialty coffee drinks with a focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Customer Engagement: Greet and serve customers with a friendly, positive attitude, providing them with detailed knowledge about our coffee offerings.

Cleanliness & Organisation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with health and safety guidelines, ensuring the café is always welcoming for customers.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth café operations, supporting colleagues during busy periods.

Innovation: Show curiosity and enthusiasm for experimenting with new brewing techniques, coffee profiles, and dessert pairings to elevate the customer experience.

Café Environment: Contribute to a warm, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere that reflects the high standards of our café.

Who We’re Looking For:

Experience in Specialty Coffee: You have at least one year of experience working with specialty coffee, whether in a café, barista role, or similar environment.

Passion for Coffee & Quality: You care about quality coffee and are passionate about delivering the best experience for every customer.

Attention to Detail: A strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and maintaining high standards of quality in everything you do.

Customer-Centric: You love engaging with customers, creating memorable experiences, and sharing your knowledge of coffee.

Team Player: You thrive in a team environment, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive atmosphere.

Self-Motivated & Reliable: You can work independently, stay focused during busy periods, and ensure tasks are completed on time.

Flexible Availability: You’re available to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
