Job Title: Support Worker
Job Summary:
Are you fun and full of energy care worker who can provide outstanding levels of care for the people we support we are seeking active and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The candidate will provide care and support to those who are living with LD and Autism, the job involves being out and about in the local community and participating in activities with the person you are supporting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care and support to residents while enriching their lives.
Duties:
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines and protocols.
- Provide attentive and personalised patient care to meet individual needs.
- Offer support and encouragement to residents, fostering a positive and proactive approach.
- Support the residents to be part of the community accessing swimming pools, local discos ,coffee shops and events.
- Support with Personal care where required.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role, in a healthcare or social care setting 2+years experience is required.
- Knowledge of best practices in resident care and experience with Medication administration.
- Familiarity with providing specialised care such as complex care and support is highly desirable.
- Must hold a level 2 and above in Health and Social care.
- Ability to adapt to various environments and work effectively within a team.
