Job Overview:
As a Bank Administrator at Charterhouse Care Home, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our care home’s administrative functions. This flexible position involves providing essential administrative support on an as-needed basis, including covering reception duties to ensure a welcoming and efficient front-of-house experience for residents, visitors, and staff.
Joining our Bank of casual staff allows you to choose shifts that are convenient to you and required by St Monica Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support such as data entry, filing and problem solving.
Assist with maintaining accurate records related to residents, staff, and daily operations.
Support the scheduling, coordination and taking minutes for appointments and meetings.
Cover reception duties, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing enquiries.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
Assist with ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels.
Support the team with ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work flexibly as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
Understanding of the care home environment is an advantage but not essential.
Working Hours:
Flexible hours on a bank basis to cover absences or busy periods, including occasional reception cover.
