Job Opportunity: Assistant Project Coordinator

About Us:
We are Skylon, a construction company specializing in commercial and residencial refurbishments across Central and North London. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a driven and organized Assistant to our two Construction Project Coordinators to join our projects team across multiple sites and stages -from tendering, planning, and procurement to site coordination and completion.

What You’ll Do
- Assist in preparing tender packages, including scopes of work, material specifications, and document collation for subcontractor pricing.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers (quotes, follow-ups, documentation)
- Assist in material orders, scheduling, and tracking deliveries
- Read and interpret technical drawings to support measurements and quality checks.
- Assist in preparing job packs (risk assessments, method statements, drawings, checklists) and update project documentation
- Coordinate with site and purchasing teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Support with O&M manuals, permits and subcontractor documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing, with clients, contractors and internal teams.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) is essential; experience with Adobe and AutoCAD is a significant advantage.
- Prior experience or education in construction/project support is a plus.
- Collaborative and dependable, with a proactive approach to work.
- Polish language skills – a strong advantage
- A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role due to the rural location of the head office and occasional travel to project sites.
Qualifications (Preferred but not essential):
- Background in construction or fast paced Project Management.
- CSCS card or willingness to obtain
- Familiarity with RAMS, technical documentation, and project workflows.
- Experience supporting tendering processes, including document management and contractor liaison, is a strong advantage
