Apprentice Warehouse Operative
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to start their career in warehousing and logistics. As an Apprentice Warehouse Operative, you'll learn all aspects of warehouse operations, including:
- Preparing and parcelling goods for despatch
- Creating address and product labels using Microsoft Word
- Communicating with the Sales Office team
- Completing and updating carrier paperwork and systems
- Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming goods
- Assisting with goods deliveries using the company van (depending on candidate age/drivers licence status)
- Taking part in annual stock checks
- Basic forklift operation (training provided depending on age)
- Picking orders by priority and updating associated paperwork
Skills & Requirements:
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word experience is a plus)
- Previous warehouse experience is a bonus but not required
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
