Summary
As an Aprentice Dog Groomer, you will be integral to providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the well-being of our canine clients. Reporting to the Lead Groomer, your core responsibilities will involve bathing, brushing, and styling dogs, utilizing your skills in animal care and customer service. This is a role where you will be taught everything you need to know regarding preparing dogs to be fully groomed.
Training will be given at The salon and with Wigan and Leigh college
Wage upon application is subject to ability and current skill level but base wage £7.55 per hour (Aprentice wage) on 36 hours per week.
Tuesday - Saturday
pay will increase when promoted to stylist

Responsibilities
Provide grooming services for dogs, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
Assist in the care and handling of animals, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of grooming tools and work areas.
Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide excellent customer service.
Lift and handle dogs of various sizes, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
