About the role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join our Glasgow team.
This role is ideal for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience as an administrator. As an Apprentice Administrator, you will provide essential support to the team, develop key office and communication skills, and contribute to the smooth running of daily business operations.
Role responsibilities
- Provide administrative support including filing, scanning, and data entry
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and presentations
- Schedule meetings, book rooms, and support diary management
- Support with ordering office supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Welcome visitors and provide general reception support when required
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure effective communication and workflow
- Undertake training and development activities as part of the apprenticeship programme
About you
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- No prior experience necessary – full training will be provided
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths desirable
