Animal Nursing Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Animal Nursing Assistant/ Receptionist to join the team at our independent Small Animal Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Referral Centre in Farmoor, Oxford.
Job Description
You will be performing a variety of duties, which will include assisting the Veterinary Nurses with inpatient care, holding patients, assisting in prep/theatre, cleaning and maintaining operating equipment, stock control, reception duties.

Knowledge and Skills
As an Animal Nursing Assistant, you will be empathetic, passionate about animal care and help to deliver outstanding services to our patients and clients.
Be a team player with the ability to establish positive working relationships and support the team
· Essential skills:
- Five GSCEs grade 4/C and above
- A full, clean driving licence
- Experience in using computers and Windows-based applications
Desirable skills:
- A recognised educational qualification in Animal Management or VCA / ANA.
This will be a Full-Time role working 36hrs/week on a fixed Rota. A competitive salary and generous benefit package will be offered to the right candidate.
