This is the job

We’re looking for an Analytics Consultant to join our transformation team on a fixed-term basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoys using data to shape new business opportunities.

As a key member of a cross-functional team, you’ll deliver high-quality analytics, business modelling, and performance tracking to support agile decision-making. You’ll help evaluate test outcomes, build financial models, and contribute to the development of a compelling investment case for future scaling.

Please note, this position is a 9–12-month fixed term contract.

What will I be doing?

  • Drive Data-Driven Decision Making: Design and deliver structured analytics to support a test-and-learn framework. Analyse results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to refine propositions, pricing, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Build and Maintain Business Models: Develop robust financial and operational models to simulate scenarios and assess commercial viability.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Create and manage dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor key metrics such as customer demand, utilisation, conversion, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with colleagues in Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Technology to validate assumptions, share insights, and align on strategic priorities.
  • Support Strategic Recommendations: Provide data-driven insights to inform investment decisions and long-term planning.

What do I need?

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data handling, interpretation, and visualisation across a broad spectrum of data analytics within innovation/scale-up environments.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R; experience with platforms like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • A track record of producing accurate, high-quality outputs with attention to detail.
  • Experience in business modelling and performance tracking in commercial or transformation contexts.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in agile or test-and-learn environments is a plus.

Additional information

We’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do. As a valued member of The AA team, you’ll have access to a range of benefits including:

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays + holiday buying scheme
  • Worksave pension scheme with up to 7% employer contribution
  • Free AA breakdown membership from Day 1 plus 50% discount for family and friends
  • Discounts on AA products including car and home insurance
  • Employee discount scheme that gives you access to a car salary sacrifice scheme plus great discounts on healthcare, shopping, holidays and more
  • Company funded life assurance
  • Diverse learning and development opportunities to support you to progress in your career
  • Dedicated Employee Assistance Programme and a 24/7 remote GP service for you and your family

Plus, so much more!

We’re an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from everyone. The AA values diversity and the difference this brings to our culture and our customers. We actively seek people from diverse backgrounds to join us and become part of an inclusive company where you can be yourself, be empowered to be your best and feel like you truly belong.
