We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Administrative Support Assistant to work closely with the Directors and Operations Manager across our group of Montessori nurseries. This is a varied role that requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions & Sales: Support with parent enquiries, tours, and admissions across nursery settings. Work towards agreed targets to help increase occupancy, ensuring a professional and welcoming first impression for families.
- Occupancy Growth: Contribute actively to the growth of the nurseries by promoting our settings, following up on enquiries, and supporting conversions from enquiry to registration.
- Recruitment: Assist with the recruitment process for nursery staff, including advertising roles, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding.
- Recruitment Agency Setup: Provide administrative and organisational support in establishing and running a new recruitment agency for early years professionals.
- Events & Marketing: Help plan and organise open days, parent events, and staff events. Assist with promotional activities and campaigns to support admissions and staff recruitment.
- Administration: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Directors and Operations Manager, including diary management, document preparation, data entry, and filing.
- Communication: Liaise with staff, parents, and external partners in a professional and friendly manner.
- Compliance & Organisation: Support with record keeping and ensure systems are maintained accurately.
Skills & Qualities
- Experience in administration, sales, or customer service.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, databases).
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
- Motivated by working towards targets and achieving results.
Desirable
- Experience in early years, education, or recruitment.
- Understanding of nursery admissions processes.
- Event planning or marketing experience.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.30-£14.00 per hour
