Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented construction Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and demonstrate proficiency in various administrative tasks in construction and project management. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, supporting both management and staff with a variety of administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties, including filing, data entry, preparation of quotations, invoices and other documents.
- Manage office correspondence, including emails and phone calls with clients and suppliers, ensuring professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Assist in maintaining construction supplies and inventory levels, placing orders as necessary.
- Organise and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for team members.
- Support the team with various ad-hoc tasks as required.
Experience
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role within the industry is crucial.
- Strong clerical skills with a focus on accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in using software for filing, pricing and invoicing for construction.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
