Established in 1984, Ruskin Mill Trust is an educational charity that operates in England, Scotland and Wales. We offer exciting outdoor learning environments, utilising practical land and craft activities to support the development of work and life skills in young people with autistic spectrum conditions and other learning differences. Our research-led method, Practical Skills Therapeutic Education, is inspired by the work of Rudolf Steiner, John Ruskin and William Morris. We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant at Sunfield Children’s School and Home here in Clent, West Midlands, to work with the School Business Manager with the responsibility for administrative functions. With the Trust rapidly growing in size, this is an exciting time to join us and become part of our team.
You will be responsible for:
- The undertaking of routine administrative duties
- Maintaining diaries, scheduling of meetings
- Assistances with the preparation of reports
- Dealing with incoming telephone calls, support with visitors,
- Raising of purchase orders
- Updating student information systems as well as many other administrative tasks.

Experience or a keen interest in the administrative function of the Trust as well as excellent administration and communication skills is a must.
