Job Summary:
Do you have a big personality, love working with people, and enjoy being active? Join us as an Activity Instructor at Adventure Parc, Dolgarrog – where no two days are the same! You'll play a key role both front-of-house on reception and on the ground running exciting activities such as Ninja Tag, Indoor Caving, Zip Wire, Altitude Climber, Adrenaline Drop, Indoor Slides, and Elevation Indoors.
This is a fun, energetic, and rewarding role in a fast-paced environment where Health & Safety is a top priority. Full training will be provided, all you need is enthusiasm, confidence, and a willingness to get stuck in!
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Reception & Booking
- Greet guests with a warm, friendly welcome.
- Take bookings in person, online, and over the phone for adventure activities and events.
- Provide clear information and guidance on activities, timings, safety rules, and park facilities.
- Use booking and till systems efficiently and accurately.
Activity Hosting
Set up and supervise guests on adventure attractions including:
- Ninja Tag
- Indoor Caving
- Zip Wire
- Altitude Climber
- Adrenaline Drop
- Slides
- Elevation Indoors
- BMX Pump Track
Engage with guests, lead group briefings, and ensure everyone has a fun, safe, and memorable experience.
Maintain a high level of energy and customer service throughout all interactions.
Health & Safety
- Carry out pre-session safety checks and equipment inspections (training provided).
- Ensure all guests follow activity rules and wear safety gear correctly.
- Follow all operational safety procedures and incident protocols.
- Actively monitor activities and respond appropriately to any safety concerns or incidents.
Requirements:
- Confident, outgoing, and customer-focused.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading activities.
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious at all times.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and use good judgment.
- Physically fit enough to work on active equipment and adventure elements.
- Willingness to work weekends, school holidays, and peak periods.
- Must be willing to undergo any required DBS checks.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or activity-based role.
- Experience working with children or hosting group activities.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to train).
- Knowledge of health & safety practices (training will be provided).
