Accounts Assistant
Location: Luton
Salary: £27k – £34k
Contract Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Finance Manager
Overview
A solid Administrative Bookkeeping role, maintaining company finance records day to day, ensuring data is correct, current and accurate.
An exciting time for RC as large growth plans and investment from the directors into the current people, systems and culture
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Ledger Invoices In
- Cashbook for all Group Companies
- Monitor and maintain Creditors/Debtors
- Preparation of Weekly Debtors report for distribution.
- Maintaining accurate records for the PLEO Card system and Credit Cards
- Reconciliation of Bank Account.
- Bookkeeping for Investment Companies
- Other ad-hoc tasks.
Key Skills/Requirements:-
- AAT Desirable but QBE also acceptable
- Proficient in Excel
- Knowledge of SAGE 50 preferred but not essential
- Sector experience desirable but not essential
- At least 12 months experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong character able to have tough conversations
- Team player

Key Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Excel with strong data management skills.
- Experience with Monday.com is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAGE 50 preferred but not essential.
- Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar finance or admin role preferred.
- Confident, with a strong character able to manage challenging conversations with suppliers and councils.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
