Key Responsibilities:
As our Accounts Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Director and wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day financial processes. Your main duties will include:
- Credit Control – Managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Supplier Statement Reconciliation – Ensuring supplier statements match internal records and resolving discrepancies.
- Bank Reconciliations – Regularly reconciling bank statements to maintain financial accuracy.
- Absence Reporting – Supporting HR and finance with accurate absence tracking and reporting.
- General Finance Support – Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks, reporting, and month-end processes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
