Team player:
- Support the sales team to maximise sales by displaying exemplary service to reflect the performance of the store.
- Promote add-on sales and cross-selling.
- Train new cashiers to ensure high performance, make sure they understand all procedures and processes of opening and closing.
- Relay and feedback to management with extra training needs for new cashiers
Customer Service
- Provide an impeccable customer experience at all times (Use appropriate etiquette, body language and tone)
- Manage customer relationships, create loyalty, manage complaints and escalate them when appropriate
- Welcome, inform and answer any queries customers may have
Responsibilities:
- Managing the tills, customer queries and security at the cash desk
- Controlling cash handling procedures, investigating and resolving discrepancies on the tills
- You will extract daily sales for each till, report back to the business and identify any discrepancies
- Follow ups to be completed every day and financial board to be filled every morning
- Achieve all KPI goals set by management
Other responsibilities
- Available to back stock, to prepare items for the shop floor when requested and to replenish all areas of the store
- Available to do cycle counts and price checks in the morning when requested
- Keep till area replenished and tidy
- Answering the phone and handling customer queries, relay feedback to management if needed
Services
- Be available for monograming, belt cuts and belt holes (training will be provided) when needed to provide a well-rounded experience for our guests
- Be available to gift wrap when requested and provide accurate time frame for customers to keep them in the loop
