Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a Cashier to join our Finance team based at our Head Office in Newry.
Key responsibilities Include:
- Daily reconciliation and recording of cash, cheque, card and voucher takings
- Preparation of accurate bank lodgements and issuing miscellaneous cheques
- Managing and reconciling petty cash transactions
- Supplying stamps, lodgement bags, books and updating till floats
- Providing admin support to the senior company accountant
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Experience of working in an accounts department in a similar role
- Experience of working on a computerised ledger system
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Able to work well individually and as part of a team in a busy office environment
