Young Person's Resilience Worker

CGL (Change, Grow, Live)
£27,861 - £32,002 a year
West Sussex, England
Overview:
Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?

We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Young Person Resilience Worker to join our thriving and successful West Sussex Under 25s Drug & Alcohol Service, part of the wider Change Grow Live Young Persons & Families Service.

At Change Grow Live, we believe in creating the conditions where everyone can thrive. We recruit for success, recognise and reward effort, and support flexible, healthy, and agile ways of working. Together, we are learning, developing, and growing — identifying future talent and leadership at every level.
We are committed to building inclusive teams where everyone experiences a true sense of belonging — where every voice matters, where we connect and engage at all levels, and where we live and experience our values every day.

As a Young Person Resilience Worker, you’ll play an essential role in engaging young people using a person-centred approach. You’ll support them to reduce risks, build resilience, and lead safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives. This role is delivered on an outreach basis across West Sussex, so a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
We’ll support you every step of the way — with world-class learning and development opportunities to help you build confidence in delivering assessments, harm reduction, and tailored interventions. You’ll also work closely with partner agencies and professionals, developing strong networks and collaborative practice to ensure the best outcomes for the young people you support.

We thrive when we deliver meaningful, mission-driven work. As a charity, we’re united by a shared belief that people can change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. Our core values — Be open, be compassionate, be bold — guide how we work together and with the communities we serve.

Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We take a proactive, assertive approach to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate a strong understanding of — and commitment to — best practice in safeguarding.
