Job Description
- Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm
- Carrying out shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks
- Completing vehicles downloads as per the company policy
- Assisting with fuel delivery / manual dip of fuel
- Liaising with the warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure smooth and efficient loading / unloading of trailers
- Keeping yard in clean / tidy condition
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles on a stand on Electric Pallet Truck.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space.
- Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
- Following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.
- Comply with Food Safety Regulations
Criteria:
- Previous shunting experience required
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience of previously working in a busy environment
