DUTIES OF THE ROLE
- Preparing Trailers for dispatch to customer, ensuring all trailers are intact with required parts
- Stacking trailers for dispatch using either FLT or overhead crane
- Securing the load for dispatch, ensuring the trailers are strapped and safe and completing final quality check
- Working with power tools (impact gun, circular saw etc)
- Keeping yard organised and tidy at all times, storing goods safely in designated areas.
- Ensuring Health and Safety procedures are followed and report any issues to Supervisor.
The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar role within an Engineering/Manufacturing Environment.
- Full Driving License Required
- Counterbalance Forklift license/experience (minimum 3 years experience).
- Good communication skills.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
- Ability to work under pressure and be fully dependable and reliable
