Yard Administration Assistant
Location: Chipping Warden
We are seeking a full-time Yard Administration Assistant to join the team at our Chipping Warden site.
Working under the guidance of the Yard Operations Team Leader, you will be an essential part of our daily salvage operations, ensuring smooth and efficient site processes.
Site Operations and Administration
- Checking and processing customer payments
- Processing, chasing and filing invoices
- Liaise with finance team regards buyer payments
- Booking in vehicles for collection
- Sorting post and responding to letters and emails
- Processing appropriate paperwork for vehicles to be collected or delivered
- Dealing with customer queries at the counter
- Ensuring all the correct waste compliance paperwork is completed for waste vehicles
- Returning of customers personal items, packaging, labelling
- Managing the unable to auction list which may include spending time out on-site imaging vehicles, obtaining VIN numbers, bar coding vehicles
- General administration and yard duties as required
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a similar customer facing role
- Experience or willingness to work in all weathers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- GCSE in Math’s & English
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Adaptable & self-motivated
- Excellent attention to detail
