Talk Consent is looking for freelance Workshop Facilitators, who will join us on our mission to reduce rape and sexual assault by delivering engaging and effective consent and sexual violence education to school students.
The sessions our facilitators deliver are open, engaging, and inclusive. As a facilitator, you are responsible for:
- Delivering our content in a positive, engaging and relatable way
- Creating an enjoyable environment where students are relaxed and comfortable
- Gathering student, teacher and facilitator feedback after sessions, so that we can continue to develop and improve the education we deliver
About you
Our facilitators are the embodiment of Talk Consent - the organisation is built upon their passion, skills and conversations they facilitate. As a Workshop Facilitator, you are the face of Talk Consent, and will help the organisation to grow and expand to support as many young people as we can. Therefore, we are looking for people who share and connect with our values:

Although robust training is provided on delivering our content, we are looking out for people who can demonstrate experience and/or an ability to engage an audience. We deliver sessions in varying environments to audiences of sometimes less than 10 to over 300 people. Therefore, ideally you:
- Have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Are confident and comfortable with the idea of public speaking and working in a classroom
- Are passionate and knowledgeable on the topics of consent and sexual violence

Talk Consent is an organisation that provides affordable and effective consent education to schools, with the aim to end peer-on-peer sexual violence. We offer assemblies and workshop-style sessions to help students develop their understanding of consent and sexual violence, and help keep themselves and those around them safe and healthy. Our sessions are delivered by relatable and engaging young facilitators that help students feel understood and comfortable.

Important Details
Pay: Minimum £20 per workshop/assembly delivered and all travel expenses paid. Each workshop/assembly is approximately 1 hour long.
Location: Various locations at school sites. London based facilitators generally deliver across the city, and on occasion at schools in the Home Counties. Effort will be made to allocate you to bookings close to where you are located, where possible.
Hours: This is a flexible freelance role. As a facilitator for Talk Consent, we will aim to provide you with engagements that suit you and work around your availability. There are no specific or minimum hours expected from our facilitators. However, it is preferred that people do facilitate regularly. It is expected that approximately 5–15 hours per week would be available, however this may fluctuate week by week.
Please note that you are not permitted to work in a freelance capacity if in the UK on a Student Visa.
