Wood Machinist – Starting Role
Location: Unit 2, Bristol Vale Trading Estate, Hartcliffe Way, BS3 5RJ
Type: Full-time (40 hours per week, with 1 hour of paid breaks per day)
We’re looking for someone to join the Konk team in a starting role as a wood machinist.
You don’t need loads of experience - just a genuine interest in woodworking, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
What the job involves:
- Prepping timber using machines like planers, thicknesseres and wide belt sanders
- Helping cabinetmakers with materials and general workshop tasks
- Keeping things tidy and organised
- Solid timber glue-ups using buscuit jointer and glue-racks
What we’re after:
- Someone reliable, practical, and hardworking
- You’re into making or furniture design, and take pride in doing things well
- Some workshop experience would be preferable, however training will be provided to the right candidate
