Our Panel Wireman position will be based in our Washington office, with an hourly rate of pay of up to £15.50 per hour, this Is negotiable depending upon experience. Main role responsibilities, but not limited to are, mounting equipment, extremely neat wiring of equipment & understanding schematics.
The Role
- Building control panels from wiring schematics
- Drilling/tapping and some basic mechanical work
- Fitting components including 33kV switches, reactors & capacitors
- Testing & inspection In preparation for customer FAT tests
- Electrical fault finding
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- Knowledge of tools and instruments of the trade
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Precision and attention to detail
- Work closely with the wider engineering teams to ensure the smooth running of projects
Qualifications and Requirements
- Great verbal and communication
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong team working culture,
- Customer facing skills
- Full UK driving licence (desired)
- Strong work ethic & ability to pick up new skills in a timely manner.
- Willing to show flexibility performing overtime to meet business needs.
Working Hours & Salary
- Up to £15.5 per hour depending on experience.
- 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Thursday & 8AM - 1PM Friday
