This role is based in hotels currently being used to accommodate asylum seekers, and the main purpose is to provide day-to-day assistance and support to residents.
Responsibilities include helping individuals with practical tasks such as booking GP appointments, enrolling children in school, arranging transport, and acting as a point of contact between them and the Home Office.
You will also be expected to carry out regular welfare checks, ensure rooms and facilities are in good condition, and gather feedback on food and overall wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with multiple external agencies
- Ability to multitask
- Deal with difficult situations and always maintain a professional approach
- Available to work for 5 days a week
- Must be IT literate - word, excel, outlook etc
- Immediate Starts
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements:
- Current Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate
- Enhanced DBS or willing to apply for it
- Previous experience in a customer facing MANAGEMENT role
- Ideal candidates will come from the support/care industry
Full training and induction provided.
