WELDER/FABRICATOR - DAY SHIFT
The Tube Creation Company has been manufacturing metal furniture for contract furniture companies for almost three decades. Throughout the years we have worked with some of the country’s most respected furniture brands and have developed a reputation renowned for quality products, knowledge, and exceptional service. Our expert team of Fabricators and Operatives have lent their skills to a range of projects, some of which can be seen displayed in many Five-Star London Hotels and Universities across the UK.
We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to be part of our regular day shift, Mon-Thu 06.00-16.45.
You will need to be a Fabricator with a minimum of 2 years MIG Welding experience, ideally working with ERW, any TIG Welding experience will also benefit your application. You will have some knowledge of reading and translating technical drawings, as each project is bespoke to our clients. You will be a motivated self-starter, who enjoys working in a small team and exceeding group production targets. Excellent attention to detail is paramount.
Essential
- 2 years MIG Welding experience (minimum).
- Proficient in working from Technical Drawings
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Use of grinding, drilling, and range of finishing tools as part of the entire fabrication process
- Ability to work independently.
- Enjoy team collaboration on large projects.
- Motivated to meet and exceed production targets.
- Driving licence and reliable transport, due to location.
Desirable
- TIG Welding experience
- Knowledge of working with plate/sheet metal
- Any Tube bending capabilities.
- Forklift experience
