Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, ensuring high-quality fabrication and assembly of metal components. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques, including TIG and Stick welding, as well as a solid understanding of mechanical principles and basic mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Execute welding processes such as TIG and Stick welding to fabricate and assemble metal structures.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of components.
- Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal parts as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding, with a strong focus on TIG and Stick welding techniques.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings.
- Basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Experience in assembly processes is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
