Location: River Hamble, Hampshire – Universal Marina & Warsash Quay
Working hours: 8:30am to 5pm on a Saturday/Sunday. Minimum one guaranteed shift a week. You must be able to regularly work every weekend (6 weekends paid holiday/year)

We're a proudly independent coffee shop and micro-roastery with two scenic locations nestled on the coastal path between Swanwick and Warsash.
At Mermaids, we hand-roast small batches of specialty coffee and bake all our cakes and treats in-house. We’re serious about quality—but just as serious about creating a warm, welcoming environment for both our customers and our team.
We're looking for someone to join our weekend team, starting by assisting mostly with keeping the coffee shop clean and tidy, including washing up and then moving on to till training and for the right candidate the option to receive full Barista training.

What We’re Looking For:
- A flexible and enthusiastic candidate able to regularly work either a Saturday or Sunday every weekend, with the option to do both days to help cover staff holidays
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with great customer service instincts
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping the coffee shop clean and tidy, washing up, clearing tables and assisting customers
- Handling till operations (after training) & interacting with customers
- Supporting food prep
- General cleaning duties
- Delivering consistently great service and maintaining high standards
Please note:
This is a long-term, weekend role and not suitable for summer-only applicants.

Pay: £9.00-£12.50 per hour
