The role:
At our hotel, we’re looking for a team who are passionate about Cornwall and our local food and drink producers, and are eager to be a part of this county's incredible way of life. As a member of our team, you'll work alongside others who prioritise our guests and support each other.
We seek dynamic individuals who value positive lifestyle choices and excel as food and beverage all-rounders. This role will be 7:30am-12:30pm and is to help out our team on weekends.
What your days could look like:
- Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, timely and relaxed yet professional manner
- Interacting with guests whilst they are with us for breakfast
- Prepare hot and cold drinks
- Clearing, tidying and re-laying tables
- Showing the guests to their table and explaining the buffet options
- Continually build upon company and product knowledge and give input on how we could develop and improve
- Keep the area you’re responsible for clean, tidy and organised
- Give new team members a helping hand, and support their training and development
- Cleaning down the restaurant once all guests have had their breakfast
Job skills & requirements:
- Barista, waiting or bar experience – or time working in other people-facing roles in retail or leisure. But it’s also about personality fit and attitude, so we’re happy to offer full training for the right candidates who may have less experience.
- A team player, with bags of enthusiasm and personality
