What You Will Be Doing
- Creating beautifully crafted websites (mainly using WordPress)
- Design and maintain new websites and improve the designs of existing builds
- Working with off-the-shelf software and front-end website code.
- Optimising websites for multiple platforms including mobile and tablet using CMS Systems, WordPress in particular.

- This is an Exeter office based position and we are looking for a creative, technically-minded junior web designer to join our fast-growing digital advertising agency working on a full-time basis. We are a collaborative, enthusiastic team keen to take on challenging work with a focus on delivering work to a high standard within deadlines.

Who you are
- You will have experience working with a variety of front-end web technologies and will be comfortable moving between them. You should be a team player working collaboratively with other web designers to guide problem-solving and members of other teams to ensure quality product delivery.
- You should be a highly motivated individual, passionate about key factors in quality web design, and looking for new ways to improve your existing skillset.
- You will be technically and creative-minded, using these qualities to come up with the best solution to various challenges.
- You will understand the importance of your own time management and the need to find a balance between technical solutions to business needs and the time available to you.
Ideal Skills
- WordPress CMS
- Website maintenance and problem-solving WordPress issues
- Understanding of the design & development process
- Working to deadlines
- Proficient in HTML/CSS
Nice to have:
- Experience with popular WordPress page builders
- Project Management
- Experience with PHP (particularly within WordPress)
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
- Experience working in a web hosting control panel
