Job Description:
We are seeking a Waste Removal Operative to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play an essential role in providing waste clearance services across Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for collecting, transporting, and disposing of a wide variety of waste, ensuring a professional and efficient service for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload waste from residential and commercial properties.
- Safely and efficiently transport waste to recycling centers or disposal sites.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of company vehicles.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including lifting techniques and safe waste disposal.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license (Category B, C1 preferred).
- Previous experience in waste removal or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations in the waste industry.
