We are looking for a Warranty Administrator to join our Aftersales team at Winchester Motor Company! Reporting into the Group Aftersales Manager, the successful applicant will ensure the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims for our dealership, covering Skoda, SEAT, Cupra & Volkswagen cars.
The role is office based, Monday to Friday working 9am to 4:30pm with 30 mins for lunch.
Main Responsibilities:
- Submission of warranty claims are made to manufacturer in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all jobs passed for warranty submissions are accurately invoiced and costed.
- Document all warranty, goodwill and recall work as per manufacturer’s requirements and Company policy.
- Provide advice on warranty claims to the team to ensure total customer satisfaction
- Utilise technical knowledge and understanding of warranty procedures to enable effective, economic, and correct application of manufacturer’s warranty systems.
- Complete all clerical functions within the warranty department are carried out in accordance with Company policy.
- Ensure Service Advisers and workshop staff complete relevant records accurately when a warranty situation occurs on a vehicle.
- Maintain records of warranty submissions, credits, and customer contributions towards goodwill claims.
- Assist the Group Aftersales Manager in obtaining a good and consistent warranty audit result.
- Assist with other administration duties when necessary.
