Job Summary
To support the Warehouse Manager in creating and maintaining a high performing team. To support the operational activities of the Warehouse. To work towards the elimination of errors, including 100% pick accuracy and achieving the Company packaging standards across the Warehouse.
Main Duties
- Flexibility around working hours and days. Saturday cover will be essential. You will also be required to run the Saturday shift on occasion, potentially on a rota basis.
- Pick orders to the highest standard.
- Ensure that all employees are maximizing their potential and delivering the required performance/productivity levels in line with KPI’s
- Performance reviews – 1:1 every 8 weeks
- Ensure that Company standards are adhered to at all times, such as presentation of staff, environment in terms of general housekeeping and Goods In having clean and safe locations.
- Returns to be dealt with within 48 hours
- All loose stock to be kept to a minimum in pick faces and wrapped at earliest opportunity to minimize damage.
- Lead by example
- Communicate appropriately across all levels of the business with timely and professional responses to internal and external customer/partner enquiries.
- Proactive outbound communications
- Problem solving – root cause analysis, continuous review of processes to ensure efficiency. Work with the IT Dept to implement changes and share best practices.
- Support Warehouse Manager in managing resource within your team in terms of annual leave and sickness
- Support Warehouse Manager and HR with basic HR Investigations and also RTW
- Ensure compliance of company policies and procedures, particularly around health and safety.
- Support with the organisation of annual stock checks
- Health and Safety compliance either with MHE experience or willing to Train..
