We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked and packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to manage materials efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Accurately pick and pack products according to specifications and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify the integrity of packed items.
- Maintain an organised workspace and manage stock levels effectively.
- Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used for heavy items.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and improve efficiency.

Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and stock management is advantageous.
- Knowledge of materials handling practices and shipping/receiving procedures is beneficial.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, especially regarding equipment used in packing operations.
- Experience with picking and packing items accurately within set timeframes is essential.
Shift Patterns:
Day Shift pattern: 07:00 - 3:330pm
Afternoon Shift Pattern: 15:00 - 23:30
