**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse activities including loading and unloading, picking and packing orders, building pallets, operating forklifts, and ensuring smooth materials handling processes. The Warehouse Worker will play a crucial role in maintaining organized inventory and supporting shipping and receiving operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
- Pick and pack orders accurately to fulfill customer requirements
- Build pallets according to specified guidelines for storage or shipment
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage and ensure proper storage
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required in a safe manner
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes as needed
**Skills**
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance
- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
